Marilyn Vooreis Eaton
August 1, 1948 - February 22, 2026:

Marilyn attended Paly her sophomore year, then Menlo-Atherton her junior and senior years. Still, she identified with Paly class of 1966 – she attended the 20th reunion and continued to be listed in the Paly alumni directory. Marilyn graduated from College of San Mateo in 1968 and married Sherman Eaton, a mechanical engineer for Westinghouse Electric Corp., that October. They had met five years earlier while ice skating. Later, Marilyn was a longtime ice skating instructor at the Winter Lodge in Palo Alto. The couple lived in Menlo Park. Their son Alan is a teacher at M-A.
